Responsible Gaming

Last updated 9 October 2026

Casino games and betting cost money – that is the price of the entertainment, not a side effect. This page is a practical kit: ground rules to set before you play, tools that enforce them, signs that things are slipping and free help in India.

Adults only – and check the law: Gambling is for people aged 18 or over. Online money games are prohibited across India under the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 (the central law), and states have gambling laws of their own. Check what applies to you.

Ground rules before any session

RuleWhy it helps
Use spare money onlyRent, EMIs, school fees and savings are never a stake
Decide your stop point firstA limit chosen while calm beats one chosen mid-session
Put a clock on itFast rounds such as Aviator make time vanish
Never chase lossesBigger bets to win money back usually deepen the hole
Don't play to fix a moodTired, angry, drunk or stressed play is the costliest kind

Limits you can set

Request the tools below in Pin-Up's account settings or through its support team. Options can differ by account, so ask support if a setting is missing.

ToolWhat it doesHow to set it
Deposit limitCaps deposits per day, week or monthAccount settings or support
Loss limitMaximum net loss for a periodSettings if offered; else support or a strict personal rule
Session limitEnds play or reminds you after a set timeSettings if offered, or a phone timer
Cooling-offShort lock on the accountSupport or account settings
Self-exclusionLong, fixed block on accessAccount settings or support

Set it on day one: Choose limits when you open the account, not after a bad night. Write them down and tell someone you trust what they are.

Warning signs

  • Going over your money or time budget more often than not
  • Raising stakes to recover what you lost
  • Borrowing, using credit or pawning things to fund play
  • Hiding deposits or sessions from family
  • Feeling restless or snappy when you cannot play
  • Gambling to escape stress, loneliness or boredom
  • Losing sleep, missing work or college, skipping family time
  • Paying for "predictor" apps or Telegram tips that promise to recover losses – none of them work

Quick self-check

Look back over the last 12 months and answer yes or no:

  • Did rent, bills or household money ever end up in a casino balance?
  • Do small stakes feel boring now?
  • Have you logged in the next day just to recover a loss?
  • Have you taken a loan, used a credit card or sold something to play?
  • Has a partner, parent or friend told you they are worried?
  • Do you feel guilty after a session?
  • Have you promised yourself to cut down and broken that promise?

One yes is enough to pause: A single yes is a reason to set stronger limits. Several mean it is time for a proper break and a talk with someone – the helplines below cost nothing.

Taking a break that holds

  1. Request a cooling-off period or self-exclusion through account settings or support, and pick a period long enough to matter.
  2. Uninstall the app, delete saved passwords and log out on every device.
  3. Ask your bank whether it can block gambling payments, and remove saved UPI handles from payment apps.
  4. Unsubscribe from casino e-mails, SMS offers and push notifications.
  5. Tell one person you trust what you are doing.
